Most people who find their way to Perception aren’t in crisis. They’re carrying something — anxiety, exhaustion, relational pain, the sense of being perpetually one step behind themselves — and they’re ready for it to shift. Not after the busy season ends. Not when things calm down. Now.
That’s the premise we build our work around: healing that integrates into your life, not therapy you have to rearrange your life to access.
Our team is small and intentional. Each clinician brings a distinct approach, but we share a common orientation: depth over speed, the whole person over isolated symptoms, and practical integration over insight that stays in the room. We blend evidence-based methods with somatic practices, trauma-informed frameworks, and holistic tools — because we know that lasting change happens at the level of the nervous system, the body, and the unconscious, not just the thinking mind.
We work primarily with adults who are high-functioning and self-aware, but still stuck. The people who have read the books, tried the strategies, and know themselves intellectually — but haven’t been able to make it feel different yet. That gap between knowing and living differently is where our work lives.

Our approach is eclectic by design — trauma-informed, somatic, holistic, and depth-oriented — because the people who come to us don't fit neatly into one category, and neither does the work they need to do.
We draw from psychodynamic and psychoanalytic frameworks, CBT, EMDR, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, attachment theory, and creative expression — not all at once, but thoughtfully woven together based on what your nervous system, your history, and your goals actually call for. The body is always part of the conversation. So is the part of you that's been showing up the same way for years without knowing why.
